What I did today

First, I had to answer a ton of e-mails. Being the Prez can be a bit time consuming.

Then I had to shovel the deck and snowblow the driveway and front walk. It was still snowing but I was fearing the big change to freezing rain. Fortunately that did not happen. I like my driveway crystal clear in the winter but they are saying freezing drizzle tonight so I had to leave some snow cover. Tomorrow I will clean it up again because this weekend it is going to be simply freezing. Brrrrrr....

So I finally got to go downstairs to the studio and here's what I did:

I will set it aside to ponder the quilting possibilities and since it is not needed until February, I have a couple of more weeks to work on it.

Basically I'm happy with it. It was wicked easy to do. I'll see if I can find the link to this and post it in case someone wants to make one. It doesn't scream out loud for me but that's okay. Valentine's Day stuff is supposed to be calm.

I talked to Nancy and I think she said she got some borders cut out. I can't recall really and I only talked to her like 45 minutes ago. As soon as she gets a finish on that quilt she will send a picture I am sure. She had one child home from school and one child in school today. Our town's school was cancelled due to inclement weather.

Just in from Nancy. She got her Block of the Month done today!

Emily said it was boring. I tend to agree with Emily. I really didn't care for the one I made. These blocks by themselves are kind of boring but when they are all together they will shine!

What did you do today?
